Beth O’Donnell

Co-President

Beth has enjoyed working for The Travel Team for over 20 years. After joining the company in 1996 as an accounting assistant, her passion for the industry grew. During this time, she returned to school, earning her Executive MBA from the University at Buffalo. She is proud to have progressed to the role of Co-President, where she is responsible for the company’s operations, financial planning, technology development, and acquisition analysis.

Beth actively participates in roundtables for the Commonwealth Business Travel Group, the Corporate Advisory Council of the American Society of Travel Advisors, and the Global Business Travel Association. She serves as an advisory board member for the GBTNetwork as well. When she’s not working, Beth likes to keep herself busy by supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and volunteering with various organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House.

Luke Thomas

Co-President

Before starting with The Travel Team in 2012 as Vice President of Global Business Alliances, Luke led several commercial and partnership activities in emerging, high-growth companies, including travel services. He was honored to become Senior Vice President of The Travel Team in 2020. Now, as Co-President, he leads sales, marketing initiatives, and corporate development while providing market insights for strategic planning, business process improvements, product offerings, and financial models.

Outside of The Travel Team, Luke serves as a board member and treasurer for the Commonwealth Business Travel Group and participates in the Corporate Advisory Council of the American Society of Travel Advisors. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, adult children, and cherished pups. His family also actively supports Therapy Across Borders, which provides access to occupational, speech, and physical therapy, education, and advocacy in Kenya.

Ron Luczak

Vice President of Business Development

Ron is responsible for the development of leisure marketing programs and corporate leisure conversion for the Travel Team’s leisure division. An expert in culture tours, Ron has led international trips for some of the country’s leading art galleries, theaters and symphonies.

A 30 year veteran of the travel industry, Ron was recently named a Travel Insider for Niagara Falls with a specialty in wine tours and cultural expression of the Niagara Frontier.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Canisius College and a certificate from the Management Development Program of the Harvard Business School.

Stefanie Gramkee

Vice President of Operations

Stefanie is responsible for the agents in The Travel Team’s reservation center, the online team and the account management team.

She completed education in schools for Hotel Management and Travel in Germany, where she was born and raised. Stefanie moved to Buffalo and joined the Travel Team in 1997 where she worked for 13 years. After briefly exploring her culinary passions, Stefanie came back to her roots in travel and rejoined The Travel Team in 2016.

Julie Metzgar

Vice President of Leisure and Luxury Travel

Julie is responsible for the leisure and group divisions of The Travel Team.  A 23 year veteran in the industry, she has won acclaim for her creative spirit and insider knowledge of the world’s most unusual destinations.

Under Julie’s direction, her teams are superior consultants who continually set the bar for client satisfaction.
